Family business with passion
ABOUT US
Our family business has been working with passion and dedication in the world of flowers and events since 1949.
Since then, the owner-managed company dietz blumen & events, now in its third generation, has developed from a floristry business and cemetery nursery into a global service provider.
Our company, with its headquarters and showroom in Ratingen, operates several branches in Ratingen and Düsseldorf, and also acts as a service company with the core competence of flower and plant decoration, staging and arrangements.
The focus is on individual advice and service for customers, from private individuals, companies and event organizers - locally, regionally and internationally.

Theresa & Thomas Dietz
The events business segment is becoming increasingly important and is represented by the owner Thomas Dietz and his daughter Theresa Dietz.
In addition to decorations for trade fair appearances, weddings and other events, the company has made a name for itself in consulting, conception and realization of decorations for equestrian events, both nationally and internationally.
The various business areas that previously operated under the names Blumen Enk, enk eventstyling and Blumenreich were merged under dietz blumen & events.

GENERATIONAL COMPETENCE
The Blumen Enk company has been in family hands since it was founded in 1949.
Heinrich Enk and his wife Elisabeth (widow Dietz) set up the first pansy field in the heart of Lintorf. The Enk nursery was founded where Konrad-Adenauer-Platz with its large residential units and stores is located today. And the first grave care services were started at the nearby cemetery (Duisburger Str.). A service that is still an important pillar of the family and the company today.
1957Enk on Kullbeeksweg
The Enk family and their son Horst Dietz expanded the nursery and opened the Enk cemetery nursery on Kullbeeksweg in Ratingen-Lintorf. The head office is still located there today.1965Speestraße
In 1965, another flower store was opened at Speestraße 38. Not only were flowers and plants sold there, but the extended family of son Horst and his wife Hilde (née Tackenberg) moved in behind the business premises with their son Thomas and daughter Petra. Horst Dietz became more and more involved in the business and brought new ideas to the now expanded nursery.1976Enk & Son
The Enk cemetery nursery became the Blumen Enk & Sohn nursery. Buying flowers where flowers grow was the slogan of the gardening family.1983Tiefenbroich
Another business was opened in Ratingen Tiefenbroich. The cemetery nursery, located directly next to the cemetery, provided a better local supply for customers and an additional service by offering grave care. Son Thomas, who had meanwhile completed his master craftsman's certificate, expanded the family's strength and contributed new service ideas.1992Düsseldorf
Thomas Dietz took over the renowned Scheurenberg flower store at Wehrhahn 54 in Düsseldorf. This laid the foundation for many new activities. Blumen Enk now also appeared in Düsseldorf. The first hotel was supplied with flower arrangements and plants for hire! An idea and service that has continued to develop to this day,1993Generation change
Horst Dietz handed over the management of the business to Thomas Dietz, who is still passionately active in the company today.2001Extension and expansion
The flagship store on Kullbeeksweg in Lintorf has been extensively converted into a walk-in showroom. The premises now offer a wide range of opportunities to display various decorations, containers, accessories or beautifully arranged cut flowers, offering customers a large selection of inspiration. In the same year, Thomas Dietz took over the well-known Düsseldorf flower store - Blumenreich - and moved from Werhahn to the Wilhelm Marx Haus near Königsallee, from where extraordinary creations were displayed in the various showrooms and banquet halls. The creative presentation of the showroom inspires many passers-by and invites them to linger.2006In the heart of Lintorf
Thomas Dietz also moved into Speestraße 38, in the heart of Lintorf. There - surrounded by parking lots, retailers and pharmacies - is now another Blumen Enk branch.2008Expansion in Tiefenbroich
